KARITE CP	Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter	• Shea butter is a natural product from West Africa; it comes from a specific tree, Butyrospermum Parkii. • The nuts produced by this tree, and harvested between June and September, are stripped of their pulp; an almond is then extracted from it which is left to dry, then which is crushed, roasted and then ground in order to obtain a thick paste of shea butter. • Historically, Shea butter is made by women and its production has an important economic and social role in the countries concerned. In this context, SOPHIM also offers BIO and FAIR TRADE versions.
KARITE ON	Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Oil	• KARITE ON is 100% derived from native shea butter. Shea butter consists of both solid and liquid triglycerides as well as unsaponifiable minor lipids. • The liquid shea butter fraction is higher in unsaturated liquid triglycerides, lower in solid saturated triglycerides and higher in bioactive minor lipids. • Consequently, its aspect is a semi-transparent liquid at ambient temperature. • KARITE ON is 100% natural, active ingredient with moisturizing and skin regenerating properties
COCOA BUTTER	Theobroma Cacao Seed Butter	• Cocoa butter is obtained from cocoa beans, themselves contained in pods growing on cocoa trees. Anti-oxidant, • It fights against the effects of time by restoring elasticity to the skin. Its fatty acids nourish, protect and soften the skin and hair.
ARGAN BUTTER	Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil (And) Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil	• Obtained from Argan oil, from the argan tree, a tree endemic to Morocco. • Argan butter is the ideal ally for enhanced hydration, to deeply nourish the skin and strengthen its elasticity.
MANGO BUTTER	Mangifera Indica Seed Butter	• Native to India, the mango tree produces some very popular fruit rich in vitamin C. • Ideal for dry, mature skin with a tendency to dry and devitalized, mango butter maintains hydration, prevents skin aging and is used in care. • Soothing when the skin has been attacked, by the sun as by the cold. • Its pleasant texture allows it to be widely used in hair care where it also demonstrates all its benefits: it repairs the hair, nourishes it and softens it, while preventing the formation of split ends.

JOJOBA BUTTER	Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil (And) Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil	• Jojoba Butter is a creamy blend incorporating Jojoba Oil, a liquid plant wax that is non-comedogenic, • Being close to the structure of human sebum. With non-GMO Soy Butter, the blend creates a luxurious butter with a dense viscosity and smooth texture.
GRAPESEED BUTTER	Vitis Vinifera	• Soft and creamy butter, it is rich in vitamin C, vitamin E, polyphenols and Beta Carotene. • This butter has regenerative and restructuring qualities which allow a better control of skin moisture. • It exhibits good spread-ability on the skin
